Two Palms

by Jeffrey Lewis

Two Palms, acrylic on an old window. I painted this one when I was grieving and wanted to FEEL BETTER. I gave it one of my good friends who married one of my best friends, who died suddenly, way too soon. Sandy was one of my brothers from other mothers. We grew up surfing and sailing and adventuring in some of the same places - but did not know each other until after we both washed ashore on the coast of Maine, working at the same boatyard. I still see him in the window.
